BATTERY POWER ESC’s FOR 2 to 9 CHANNEL 2.4 GHz DIGITAL PROPORTIONAL R/C. Feb 1st 2010
EVOLUTION ESC’s uses any low cost Park Flyer 2.4 Ghz R/C equipment.
We have tested and approve the following 2.4GHz R/C systems for use with EVOLUTION.
SPEKTRUM DX5e TX and AR500 RX
SPEKTRUM DX5e TX and AR500 RX
PLANET TWISTER T5 TX and R6M RX
HOBBY KING HK-T6A TX and HK-TR6A RX
E-SKY ET61 TX and 731/1367 RX's.
Each locomotive will require one RX plus one or the other of the ESC's listed below.
Constant brightness directional lighting & sound triggers are NOT fitted to the B SERIES ESC's.
Constant brightness directional lighting & sound triggers are NOT fitted to the B SERIES ESC's.
Constant brightness directional lighting outputs are built into the PnP ESC's.
The EVOLUTION ESC’s are designed for both basic & advanced operation.
There are six different EVOLUTION ESC’s which are tailored to suit different situations.
They will be available at discounted prices until sold out
EVOLUTION ESC’s have an LED on the pcb. When the loco is switched ON this LED shows that the automatic sense for signal neutral has worked properly. We even provide the plug in servo cable(s).
EVOLUTION ESC’s use the same reliable hardware as our well known RCS equipment.
SOUND SYSTEMS: The EVO-E9 has both directional lighting and sound triggers built in. The other ESC's require the separate purchase of the # 2-M-F to trigger 2 x sounds.
Use EVOLUTION ESC’s as is with most sound systems. SIERRA® requires the # SSI-12v5.

BATTERY VOLTAGE:
All battery packs state a NOMINAL voltage on the pack.
When freshly charged the actual voltage can exceed the NOMINALvoltage.
eg. An 18 volt Ni-Cd pack can read 22+ volts when fully charged.
EVOLUTION takes into account the excess voltage when batteries are freshly charged, when listing what is the maximum voltage you can use.
It is the NOMINALvoltage on the battery pack that is the maximum voltage you can use.
The pcb’s have appropriate heat sinking. A cooling fan may be required for use at higher voltages & temperatures.
NB. THE POWER RATINGS ARE BASED ON 15 VOLTS. HIGHER VOLTAGES MAY REQUIRE FAN COOLING.
SEE THE ACCESSORIES LIST FOR INFORMATION ON RCS LOCO INSTALLATION KITS & BATTERIES.
THE EVOLUTION ONE YEAR GUARANTEE IS CONDITIONAL ON THE ESC BEING INSTALLED AS PER THE EVOLUTION INSTRUCTIONS.
DAMAGE CAUSED BY MISUSE WILL BE OBVIOUS TO US & IS NOT GUARANTEED.
IF YOU BLOW IT UP & TELL US HOW YOU DID IT, WE MAY WARRANT THE ITEM ANYWAY.
